Fireplace Safety

It’s the perfect time of year to get cozy in front of a big fire, but before you do, make sure your fireplace safety is up to code. Your fireplace should be cleaned and inspected annually to make sure there aren’t any large problems lurking behind the walls. Additionally, your chimney is one of your home’s weak spots and should therefore be checked at least once a year. The chimney can be at the center of many costly problems for your home, and remember that the flue should always stay clear.
